Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
This policy explains what the Big Bang game (on iPhone, iPad, Android and Steam) and this website collect, why, and the choices you have. Big Bang is made by Foundry Six ("we", "us").
The short version
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts to create. We don't sell or rent your data.
- Your progress, settings, replays and maps stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
- When you share a replay or a map, it becomes public: anyone with its code or link can watch or play it.
- Co-op and voice chat connect you to your teammates. We don't record or keep voice.
On your device
The game stores your progress, settings, the replays it records and the maps you make on your device. They are not sent anywhere unless you share them. Deleting the game deletes them.
The game also creates a random key when it is first used. It is not linked to your name, email or device identifiers. The game sends it with requests to our sharing service, which derives a public handle from it (shown as, for example, "Player 3f9a") so that the replays and maps you share stay yours.
Sharing replays and maps
Sharing happens only when you tap Share. Then we store:
- the replay recording or the map, and for a replay, a short video clip of the battle and a still from it that the game makes on your device;
- facts about it that the game sends: the era, the result, waves, time, kills, difficulty, the game version and when it was played;
- your public handle, and your Game Center or Google Play Games player name if you are signed in to one of them on your device (the game proves that sign-in to our service so the name can't be faked);
- likes, play counts, and reports and blocks people make.
Shared replays and maps are public. Anyone with the code, link or QR code can watch or play them, and they appear in the game's public lists (New, Top and Fastest). Replay clips also appear in the feed on this website (/watch). The replay page on this website shows the same facts and your player name.
Recordings and clips are kept in private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), and the listings are kept in our database. They stay until they are removed: by us on request, or when enough reports hide them.
Co-op and voice chat
To start a co-op game, the game connects to our matchmaking server, which passes connection details between you and your teammates and may relay your game through a relay server if a direct connection isn't possible. Like any internet connection, this shares your IP address with your teammates and the servers involved. We don't store games or connection details.
The microphone is used only for voice chat with your co-op teammates, and only while your mic is on. Your voice goes to your teammates' devices and is not recorded or stored by us.
Game Center, Google Play Games and Steam
If you sign in to Game Center (Apple), Google Play Games (Google) or Steam (Valve), achievements and leaderboard scores are reported to them and handled under their privacy policies. Apart from the player name used for sharing (above), we don't receive data from them.
Photos
When you choose Save for an image or video clip, the game asks for permission to add it to your photo library. It doesn't read your photos. The game doesn't use the camera.
Server information
Our servers see your IP address when the game or this website contacts them. We use it to deliver the service and to limit abuse (for example, a daily cap on how much one address can share; those records expire within a day). Our hosting providers may keep standard request logs for security for a short time.
This website
The website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and its fonts are served from this site. The replay page asks our sharing service for the replay's facts and player name, using a throwaway key that is not stored.
When you open a replay link on a device with the game installed, the link opens the game and is passed to it to show that replay.
Children
Big Bang is made for players of all ages, including children. The game doesn't ask for names, emails or other contact details, and doesn't show ads. The only names shown publicly are Game Center or Google Play Games player names when a player who is signed in shares something. Parents can control these through Apple's Screen Time or Google Family Link. If you believe a child has shared something they shouldn't have, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices and rights
- Don't share: replays and maps stay on your device.
- Delete All Replays in the game's Settings removes them from your device.
- To have something you shared removed, or to ask what we hold for your handle, contact us with its code. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, and to complain to a data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
